Spam, or Shocking Revelation Regarding the Origin of Swine to Human Transmission of H1N1? YOU MAKE THE CALL!!!

Elizabeth Smith kindly emailed me this subject line (slightly edited for language):
Babe gets wild f***ing in supermarket

We really haven't heard much from Babe the Pig since his glory days headlining two well received motion pictures over a decade ago, but like many stars who still have fame, but no longer are getting steady work, he may be acting out and indulging in all sorts of bad behavior.

I'm going out on a limb and suggest that inter-species sexual activity in a public commercial space counts as bad behavior, I hope you don't regard me as being too moralistic or judgemental for drawing that conclusion.

Also, which supermarket section for such engagements would be more shocking?

A) Produce
B) Meat
C) Feminine Hygiene
D) Bakery
E) Other

Please explain your answer in the comments.

If She Wasn't So Hot, I Might be a Little Pissed Off . . .

On my phone recently:

Direct from mkhammer:

Hey there! Look forward to chatting with you about politics or, uhh, my dinner. It happens.

She's lucky she's so damn scrumptious, witty, and intelligent, or else I might be pissed off getting spammed on my phone.

Instead, I'll dream of showing her around town should she ever visit the Los Angeles area. I'm sure she didn't just spam all her followers, instead it's a real personal connection she feels towards me after she read my twitter account and my blog. I'm dead certain, that's the case.

(and that's a sincere offer, she just needs to email me, and I'll be ready to be her chauffeur/tour guide)

UPDATE:

(how could I not upload her latest bit of YouTube fun?)

First of All, the Plural of Sheep is Sheep . . .

In my email inbox, this subject line, quote:

"Lesbians and their lovely sheeps"

I'm just trying to imagine who exactly sees that bit of spam and decides, 'wow, that's the porn for me, lesbian bestiality was just the particular kink that I was looking for!'

If you are a lesbian who also enjoys sex with animals, is that with female or male animals? Is there even more than 4 or 5 people on the entire globe who fit that description, and if so what are the chances that they've shot themselves engaged in that activity? Is this the sort of deeply philosophical and engagingly intellectual post on this blog that keeps you coming back for more?

And what is up with so many spam emails using bestiality as a come on? Is there really that big of a market for those sort of images and videos? I don't get it, I would imagine the vast majority of people with web access can happily live their lives without ever seeing any sort of image that even hints at inter-species carnal relations.

But, really, if you are going to spam my email, at least know what the plural of sheep is, it's not too much to ask.

A Spam EMail Exhorting Me to View Grotesque Sexual Practices? Or, The Most Succinct and Trenchant Summary of the Current Economic Situation Written...

Subject line found in my inbox:

Gangbanking a donkey

If it had said

Gangbanking by donkeys and elephants

then I think that'd be a perfect summary for the current situation.

We as a nation are getting gangbanked right in the figurative asshole.

SPAM Blogging, Vi@G®a Edition . . .

. . . so, some blogs that I read regularly turn out to be nothing but SPAM blogs (Dr Helen, Throwing Things). Instapundit mentions the problem, here.

Yet, blogger seems to think this blog is OK, so I guess I can get away with talking about penis enlargement, farm animals in a variety of combinations with people of both genders, stock tips, pleas for help from Nigerian princes, cheap Canadian medications, and of course, tasty, tasty processed pork products.

Somebody must have leaned on the aggressive spam filter switch on one of the machines somewhere deep in the heart of Google's infrastructure, I'm sure they'll sort this out eventually.

In the meantime, I guess I'll have to fulfill your SPAM blogging needs.

Here are just a few of the details spammers have included in the spam currently in my GMail spam folder to induce me to click through:

"US planes delivering aid to Myanmar get shot down" (subject, Romijn, O'Connell divorce)

"Hillary falls from horse, hurts arm" (subject, Beijing under threat as Olympics loom)

"China bans all American products after McCain defiantly went ahead with meeting with the Dalai Lama" (subject, Obama hurt in car crash)

"Kobe Bryant traded to Boston Celtics from Lakers" (subject, China has more internet users than US)

Not sure why they don't try and match subject line to come on sentence meant to get you to click through to whatever virus spewing link they hope you are stupid enough to click on. Wonder what kind of algorithms are used to come up with these subjects and head lines, don't seem to be humans involved in the process, most likely it's some sort of picking out real stories, tossing them into a food processor, and then seeing what comes out. For instance, Romijn and O'Connell are in the news, not for divorce rumors, but because they're expecting, but there are divorce rumors circulating about other celeb couples. Likewise the car crash stuff most likely is capturing the Shia stories, but the spamifier is linking those to politicians instead of movie stars. And then that Kobe to the Celtics headline, now that's just cruel.

Not sure how any of these stuff ever gets clicked on, but out of the billions of emails that are floating around the internet, even if an infintesimal number of these messages end up getting clicked on, I guess that's enough.

So as if I hadn't already tempted tripping the blogger spam filters enough with this post's title and including actual spam subject and head lines, I'll just end this post with a little YouTube action . . .

I Don't Normally Quote Spam, But . . .

. . . when I'm greeted this morning with the subject line, "When You Need A Stiffy-In-A-Jiffy" I just thought I'd share.

It's for 'Authentic Viagra', naturally.

Seems like the spam-filter should have caught this gem, maybe the filter is developing a sense of humor and letting slip through the especially creative ones.

Scary thought that, what if the first emergent intelligence on the internet is the AI developed for a spam-filter? That intelligence's view of humanity might be pretty low (yet basically accurate).
