Las Vegas, ersatz, kitschy, and ridiculous, that's what that place is. And if you hate Las Vegas, then you hate the United States of America, free market capitalism, the rest of the free world, and humanity in general.
I'm pretty sure Lileks loves all those things, and Vegas, too.
(which reminds me, been awhile since I've been, might be a roadtrip with illustrations in my future)
