Created a Google Map with locations marked of where I went yesterday.
Total miles driven, 470.
Miles hiked on a sand dune in 115 degree weather without carrying any water, about 1.
Still uploading the images to Flickr.
The Mojave National Preserve (where the Kelso Dunes, and Kelso Depot are), is about the size of Delaware (to give you an idea of the distance covered).

A mile with no water in 115 temps? Sounds like Friday's episode of Man versus Wild. He was in the Australian Outback and had to drink his own urine.
I figured I couldn't have been in too much trouble as, A) still sweating, B) had to pee the last 200 meters.
Plus due to the wonderful coverage of AT&T, I had a signal just in case I needed to call for help.
