Buried in this piece (hat tip the usual) about the financial travails of one of the producers of Academy Award winning Best Picture Crash (which I still haven't seen and still looks to me like a glorified ABC Afterschool Special) is a tidbit of possible information.
I'll get to that in a moment, but also I just thought I'd mention that this Reuters/Hollywood Reporter article couldn't be more favorable towards its subject if it were written by her PR Agent. I find that just a tad disgusting, it's about an ongoing court battle, and there just might be two sides to this story, Reuters once again proving their commitment to their core values (as seen at Malkin's site regarding the latest selective cropping scandal-ette)
Putting all the above aside, here's the tidbit that I find really, really disturbing, "Now separated from Yari, Bull's Eye has several upcoming TV series, including CBS' "Crash"".
That sounds like to me that CBS is planning on doing a weekly series based on the film Crash. I can't wait to see episodic TV's touching portrayals of erupting racism all around this hotbed of intolerance we call Southern California.
I don't know if they'll just follow characters that resemble the ones from the film, or will they do it up anthology style with each episode following the events leading to, the racist arguments arising from (cause every accident leads to people shouting each other down in ethnicity and culture based slurs), and moments of small redemption all surrounding a different car crash each week.
Like I said, I can't wait.

I almost left this comment on Friday, but thought better of it.
Now I've thought again.
It seems that you're developing a thematic unity centered around wallowing in this and your last post.
I say, go with it, dude! Get creative.
Vastly amused, here.
