(just kidding)
UPDATE: forgot to link Pooh, an unintentional ommission now corrected.
Normally I am anti-meme for purely mathematical reasons (if these things propigate as intended they'd swamp the entire internet)
But in this case I'll make an exception.
1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18 and find line 4.
"painting." from History of Modern Art by Arnason and Abrams
2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can, what do you find?
I wall with many naked CDs, some Dante books, and prescription sports goggles.
3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?
The end of Soylent Green (spoiler alert - it's people) on TCM. Man the future sucked back in the 70s
4. Without looking, guess what time it is.
6:20pm PST
5. Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?
6:25pm PST
6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Auto engines, tires slicing through the rain, and my mother and grandmother talking.
7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
About 30 minutes ago to walk to the car to drive the car to pick up my grandmother from church (she's a go to church daily Catholic)
8. Before you started this survey, what did you look at?
Sad Kirby Puckett news (R.I.P. you gutty fireplug).
9. What are you wearing?
Cotton and Polyester in varying blends and shapes and sizes.
10. Did you dream last night?
I rarely remember dreams, sleep for me is a blissful blank space between waking moments.
11. When did you last laugh?
I chuckle, I don't laugh (often).
12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?
Small satellite speakers, shelving with books and cds, an unused logitech keyboard.
13. Seen anything weird lately?
Weird doesn't exist in my universe, nothing surprises me, or strikes me as 'weird'.
14. What do you think of this quiz?
Well this quiz count towards my final grade?
15. What is the last film you saw?
In theatres, Finding Comedy in the Muslim World, on DVD, Serenity, on Cable, the last film I watched from start to finish was The Third Man on TCM(can't resist the zither).
16. If you turned a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
What makes you think I'm not one already? (just kidding) Lots and lots of crap, a Subaru WRX and a condo in downtown SM.
17. Tell me something about you that I don't know.
I'd have to know what you know first to know what to tell you that you don't already know. One thing I probably haven't blogged about before is that I've never dated a stripper or porn star (though I almost had a friend fix me up on a blind date with an ex porn star, and no you won't drag her name out of me)
18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt and politics, what would you do?
Free WiFi everywhere!!
19. Do you like to Dance?
Yes, and I'm not bad at it either.
20. Pres. George W. Bush
History will be kind to him, kinder than folks are now, just like Pres. Ronald Reagan (from buffoon to all time great)
21. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
That's a decision I would most likely leave up to the mother but I'd be partial to Ai.
22. Imagine your first child is a boy, what would you call him?
Junior, Junior, Junior. (I'm a III, so my first born son would be a IV, or else)
23. Would you ever consider living abroad?
Absolutely, I may still teach English in Japan one day, so I'd consider it likely that I'll spend some years residing abroad. (And why do you assume that I'm not abroad already?)
24. What would you want God to say to you when you reach the pearly gates?
Lena Horne is right over there, and she looks like she'd enjoy some 'companionship'. (If there's no bumping uglies in Heaven then, don't send me there)
25. 4 people who must also do this theme in their journal.
I refuse to clutter up any more synapses and servers with this nonsense, find someone else to spread this mindless fodder.

FWIW, I think you are right that Reagan will be treated more kindly in history than he was at the time. (From what I've read he was far far smarter than his 'personna' might indicate, and it probably didn't help my view of him that I didn't really became 'aware' of him until about 87, when I think he had lost a little zip on his fastball, to be fair (though 6 President years is about 25 people years.)
All that being said, I gave you a free hit, and you passed it up. A better man then me, you are ;)
