Some amazing music choices (poor Slovakia, YMCA for their walkout) as teams walked out in the parade of nations at the Torino Opening Ceremonies.
What does the U.S.A. walk out to?
If it was my choice, One Nation Under a Groove (which I still say should be THE national anthem)
Nope, try again howabout some Boney M.!! (Daddy Cool)

This really may be the most fabulous Olympics ever.
(and Bob Costas and Brian Williams have been making fun of the music selections also (how could you not?))
And since you can't observe anything nowadays without catching a factual error in a news item here's this from AP (link above)
Italian influences took a temporary reprieve during the long procession of some 80 countries _ chest-thumping American dance music from soul to disco accompanied the jubilant throng, from "Think" by Aretha Franklin to the choice for Italy's delegation: "YMCA" by the Village People.
I don't recognize the song Italia walked out to, but it definitely wasn't YMCA (Slovakia nabbed that honor, as I stated above), oh well, what do you expect.
UPDATE: Here is another take on the Opening Ceremonies.
