Octogenarian, Author, Famous Hitch-Hiker, Ray Bradbury had an op-ed in the LA Times this weekend.
It can be summed up in three words, Monorail! Monorail! Monorail! (OK it's only one word repeated three times)
Can't read that and not think about this Conan O'Brien penned Simpson's episode.
And even though it's not Friday, and it's not funk, here are the lyrics you to the tune that might be rattling between your ears.

Bradbury's right. Imagine how the areas west of the foothills would look and sound now, if the monorails had been built in the 50s.
There might be some problems with earthquakes, but I'd rather be above ground during a temblor than below!
Same here in Florida! Put up the monorails! I can think of two or three lines needed in Pinellas county alone, much less across the Tampa Bay into Hillsborough county. They'd be very useful and, I'd bet, popular.
