(and what's wrong with me?, every time I tell myself I won't click on a link to his blog, I end up going over there any way, he's insane, but compelling in an insane sort of way)

(and I'm not demonizing him because he no longer agrees with my politics, I'm calling him insane cause his behavior, especially regards to Palin, can only be described as insane)

(and I noticed I typed 'excitably Andy' instead of 'excitable Andy' as intended, but I think after some consideration that 'excitably Andy' makes as much, if not more, sense)

I wouldn't have shown it if his injuries were worse, when you first see Jake Brown's sickening fall, it's pretty shocking, and a commenter over at Gawker (not known for their X-Games coverage, but some things transcend categories) who says they were at Staples when it happens hints at what it must have felt like to watch it live:

The Summer X-Games have made Los Angeles their home and will be here again for at least 2008 and 2009. It's become a pretty big event around here. L.A. really is Sportstown USA.

Way Beyond Gobsmacking

I don't know what to say. I'm fairly certain this joker isn't joking, and probably is an agent of the North Korean government, or just nuts. It's a fascinatingly muddled and self-contradictory bit of YouTube-ness. Watch it to the end, you won't believe the ending.
