Will You Welcome Our Alien Overlords?

UK vulnerable to Alien threat! (via you know who)

Seems that with the ever increasing ubiquity of inexpensive good quality cameras and camcorders, that there'd be more and more UFO evidence, yet that hasn't been the case.

It's as if it really was just a bunch of kooks the whole time or something.

Also, speaking of alien overlords, I was disappointed with this Sunday's Treehouse of Horror XVII.

Kent Brockman: Ladies and gentlemen, uh, we've just lost the picture, but what we've seen speaks for itself. The Corvair spacecraft has apparently been taken over - 'conquered' if you will - by a master race of giant space ants. It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether they will consume the captive earth men or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain; there is no stopping them; the ants will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.

Above, the quote you might be thinking of, right now.

And what is it with all these anal probes, anyway?

If they can traverse lightyears to get here, you'd think whoever these aliens are would know that you really aren't going to learn a whole lot about us probing that area.

They know they're not going to learn anything. They just like to mess with the local rubes.
