That should read 'ENABLE'

(another Drudge headline)

From this article
Movie-maker OLIVER STONE has blasted media groups who "slander" celebrities for their political comments

(insert vulgar comment that suggests this pair are having hot sweaty sex together, here)

Sure thing, Mr. Stone, Hollywood stars get such rough treatment from that right wing media, it's truly appalling. I feel sorry for Mr. Clooney every time they take his words out of context, or poor Sean Penn when they published those ridiculous photos of him in Iran, or New Orleans, or anywhere (there are no photos of Sean Penn that aren't ridiculous in some way).

Certainly, religious or right of center stars get the kid glove treatment (just look at Mel Gibson, Charlton Heston, Ronald Reagan, Joel Silver or Arnold Schwarzenegger)

UPDATE:

Maybe he's already setting up the groundwork of the explanation for why his World Trade Center picture fails at the box office.

'It wasn't the heavy layer of conspiracy theories and anti-Bush propaganda I embedded in the film, it was 'the man' trying to keep a righteous brother down.'

(and it's still possible that the World Trade Center picture will be a straight ahead, respectfully done, exploration of heroism in the face of adversity, but I wouldn't bet money on it)

Oliver Stone looks like Ernie Kovacs.
